Friday evening at our long term supporters Norton Rose Fulbright, in London we hosted an evening to celebrate Awareness Week and to appoint the first Youth Champions.

The event was a great success as many members of our youth group and their guests attended, which included an inspirational and humourous talk from our Adult Represenative Mark Robinson! We are proud to have appointed Imogen, Natalie and Tim as our Youth Champions - you can catch up from the event here.

We 'ended' our awareness week by publishing a 'letter to teachers' from 14 year old Alfie. On day 6 we launch our updated Driving Information Sheet! Learning to drive is a challenge for many, and for those with dyspraxia it can be especially daunting. From concentration and hand-foot coordination to judging speed and distance and sequencing, driving makes heavy demands on some of the core dyspraxic weaknesses.

Many people with dyspraxia are unaware of the support available to them as learner-drivers or even unsure whether they can or should drive.
